Snow caps with popcorn at the movies. Shake it in. Unexpected chocolate.

th
Popcorn and chocolate is a delicious combination. Any chocolate and popcorn. Malteasers, which are like whoppers are a favorite, but really any chocolate will do with popcorn.

I bought a sandwich maker thing just like this one last week. I've been wanting to make grilled sammies out of everything I can get my hands on. One thing so far that turned out really wrong was a bean thing I made the other night with corn tortillas. Hot pockets... not so much, either they are not made for sandwich presses or I did it wrong.
I made croissants with cream cheese, tomato, and avocado that was to die for this morning. I'm going to make a garbanzo burger with cheese in a pita pocket with a ranch dressing dip and a cucumber/tomato salad for supper.
Good Lord, my scale is going to punish me for all this this. :eat_pig:

Hey!

I was looking for this thread.

I have before me a perfectly toasted strawberry Pop-tart. There is a scoop of chocolate-almond ice cream on top of it. And because my thighs are not big enough (Ha!) a few peanuts on top of the ice cream. :)

And because I want to use up the chocolate almond ice cream before it goes bad  later this week, I will get a tall glass and pour some Big Red soda in it then plop in two scoops of the very perishable chocolate almond ice cream into it. (Thigh gap be dahmed.)

Later!

You used store bought corn tortillas? I was thinking you might use corn masa, the kind for home made corn tortillas or gorditas, but I don't think it would work on that machine. (They have to be cooked on both sides.)

I was going to suggest you use flour tortillas but you're a vegetarian or vegan? (You can't eat flour tortillas because of the lard, correct?)

Now I want a gordita.

$hite! I forgot about the lard in the flour tortillas! LMAO! The flour tortillas work really well in the griller though. Nice and crispy on the outside, soft inside. Oh well, I guess the birds will get what's left of my pack 'o tortillas. (I haven't reached veganhood yet, I'm just a plain old vegetarian.)

You can buy flour tortillas without the lard, but according to Siggy, they just don't taste as good. :biggrin2:
