thanks everyone . his leg is not infected. he may be allergic to the metal they had put in. He has to see the wound care specialist as his surgeon wants a second opinion. So back to waiting for the next call for the appt. time.
Will continue prayers and sending positive vibes. You both have been through so much! Let the leg heal----

Dear friends! So many needing prayers - I'm on it: Little Eva, Lynn, Linda & husband, Patricia, and OoO - (what happened to him? - I'll surf about to see)
Life just keeps throwing it you, no matter what. My beloved departed father in law - he had a saying I loved : "$h!+ happens, and get ready 'cause more's coming". He was really a good positive person, nothing scared him, I miss him still so much.

So we just kept each other going, eh? Prayers and love and good vibes and peace to all in need. I wish I could bring y'all a casserole and a hug.

Things went really well for me at my doctor's office. Thank you all so much for your healing vibes, prayers and good thoughts. Sometimes being able to say a worry out loud, makes it seem like less of a burden. Offering up a problem to people who care about what happens to you is a sort of healing of it's own. Thank you all again.

You are absolutely right! It's less of a burden when others can help shoulder the load. Glad it went well.

Sending some love Jojo87's way, I'm not sure if she has been in today and I will wait until she does to say much more, but, she could use some love and support from the Ka-Tet.

(((Jojo)))

Edit: Have just seen Jojo's thread. Poor baby girl.
I did. It's so hard to lose a friend, especially one that has with you since childhood.

Thank you so much FlakeNoir and everybody else too. Yes I had to post it yesterday because it was so hard and I wanted to share it with
other as well. Thanks once again.

Update on my mom:
Took her to a follow-up appointment with the orthopedic surgeon today. Been about a month since her accident. Good news, bad news. Bad news, the broken piece of bone isn't healing the way they would like and it's not laying flat like it was after last x-ray. Doctor thinks all this is because of her severe osteoporosis. Good news, he still doesn't think she will need surgery.

He also thinks she may be able to draw Disability income because of the advanced osteoporosis. Told her to get the paperwork from Social Services and he would sign it. That's a long, uphill battle, but at least there is hope. He wanted her to take another month off of work, but she told him she can't. I took care of everything financially that I could and thank God my half brother stepped up and paid her lot rent for February.

Thanks for all the prayers - they are appreciated very much.
