Jimmy's supposed to be pretty good, so it's a good thing Bill B. held onto him and didn't trade him

The NFL might want those crying towels......two of the Pats' first four (assuming Brady is gone for the first four) are in Prime Time....LOL

I doubt Garappolo will start a game. Pats will go get a middling starting QB and sign him to a one year deal. They need to win 2 of those 4 games and I wouldn't turn it over to Garappolo.

What did you think of your team's first round draft pick? (for those teams that had picks, that is.)

NY Jets took Darron Lee, OLB - Ohio State. I was “meh’ on the pick. Watching a number of Big Ten games, he seems to be good against the run, but can he be an effective pass rusher in the NFL? I thought they might go after QB Paxton Lynch because talks with Fitzpatrick apparently are going nowhere, and I'd really not be a happy camper if they have to hand off the ball to Geno Smith. I guess they’ll go after a QB in the second round... Connor Cook or Christian Hackenberg, perhaps.

I'm not sure what to think. I think they got a good deal because of the picture posting drama but the drama after the pick worries me a little.

Great player, questionable character. What else will be coming out of the woodwork, next? Hopefully all the negative hype will get over with real quick and ya'll can get down to football.

They picked a questionable character guy in the first round of the 2013 draft (Dion Jordan) and that didn't work out too well. These questionable character issues are hard to gauge because sometimes it's just a young guy being a young guy and other times there are judgement issues that don't go away as they age. Sometimes the character issues are just overblown media crap and other times, they are real.

Interesting draft move from the Minnesota Vikings in the 6th round. They picked Moritz Boehringer's. He was a member of Schwäbisch Hall Unicorns of the German Football League. I think this is the first time an international player went straight from a European league to the NFL.

For the All-DiO team, I'd pick Erin Andrews in the first round. :)
