Be safe skimom2 . Looks like Mother Nature still hasn't found her chill pills!Huge wind storm did mega damage to a lot of homes/businesses here yesterday; many people are still power-less. Thankfully, we didn't get hit too bad--lost a lot of small and medium tree branches and the lawn mower cover is lost in space, but that's about all. Today is supposed to top out at 62, but it's still in the 40s now.
Spring in the Rockies is so unpredictable. It can be beautiful and 70 one day and snowing the next (see Grandpa about that--lol). Wind, rain, frost... it's sort of nuts. I'm just glad my people and the puppers are okay (and no branches hit my son's or daughter's new-to-them cars) I was worried when sending Louie out to go to the bathroom; he's a little guy, and might blow away!Be safe skimom2 . It is 82F out now. The folks up in the Fort are not very happy with the weather. State of Emergency with the fires. I am praying for rain which won't happen. It's been a glorious year weather wise up here all the way north in the Edmonton, Alberta area.
Snow was gone a month early, been much warmer, and now for the next couple of days we're hitting the high 20Cs and up - which is 75F.

Not sure, but there are areas that still don't have power for the second day. They've brought in crews from ID and MT to help. My yard is still covered with small sticks and branches (we removed the bigger ones already), but that's nothing. I worry about those without generators who are dependent on electrical medical devices. How high were the winds, skimom? Glad you and yours got through it well.
