The guy that I replaced came back into work today. He looked great. This man's hair! Got a fresh cut, but still long white and just luxurious.

Felt so guilty sitting at the drawing board he used for 50 years. Got straight up and asked him to sit down, please.
Ga - I love an elderly man with luxurious hairs. It's so rare. My man is bald. Did he sit like a proper puppy?

Oh - elderly men do get weird things on the noses. And their ears. And the hair. Gotta mind the nose and ear hairs after 50.
This is reminding me of a movie or story about a man decomposing while he was still alive. Was it something SK? Creepshow?

I received a wedding invitation for a friend's son today.
There was an odd notation on the RSVP card.......have you ever been invited to a wedding and also asked to bring side dishes for the reception?
Interesting. Emily Post would be dying over this. Is the friend of your's a very good friend who needs her friends to help that way - was the note handwritten? Or did everyone get this note on their RSVP card? To answer your question though - no, I've never seen that. But have helped make food for a reception when catering and booze were too much for the family to pay. When I got married in a small town in 1987, the reception was cake and punch in the church basement. Here in the city receptions are a big deal. When I married the Ogre in 1991, we got married at 2pm mostly to avoid the sit down dinner reception. We just had a bunch of finger foods, beer and wine. My mom wasn't too keen on spending big bucks for a second wedding.

They're having a traditional church wedding at 4:00 in the afternoon, and have rented a separate venue for the reception. It is a very good friend, but she has a good job and makes more a year than I do. Her mother also happens to have a couple of million from the sale of some property a few years ago......It's a printed invitation and RSVP card, so everyone is getting the same thing. Something about it really bothers me.

Wow! It certainly lacks class. They will be embarrassed by that someday.
