Not happy or angry, or even sad, exactly. Sometimes it's just a bummed out kind of day. Bleah.

I found out yesterday that I have a rare, weird autoimmune disorder. It's not going to kill me. It's not even very serious. It's just rare. And weird. It's just like.... WHY?
Oh dear. I'm sorry.I have to go to a viewing today for a co-worker who passed away over the weekend.
Keep one of the tomatoes on your desk for your sandwich. Totally agree with you about cold tomatoes. I wonder what it is about refrigeration that seems to sap the flavor out of them.Oh no Lepp! May you be well! I know you'll get control of this, you're amazing like that.
Sorry about your co-worker nottie! RIP
On a lighter note, though I am bummed about it: I brought BLT fixings to work, to share, for the whole week. Someone keeps putting the tomatoes in the fridge. Cold tomatoes ruin the sandwich. I'm going to have to demand a milkshake to get over that.
Pull a tomato right out of the garden and eat it, that is some good stuff.Keep one of the tomatoes on your desk for your sandwich. Totally agree with you about cold tomatoes. I wonder what it is about refrigeration that seems to sap the flavor out of tomatoes. View attachment 15919
Ambrosia. And cukes, too. Makes you wonder why we put up with the cardboard ones that come from the grocery store. Now I'm thinking about fresh from the garden cucumber sandwiches with mayo on white bread.Pull a tomato right out of the garden and eat it, that is some good stuff.
