Pure rock 'n' roll: be sure to watch the whole video, if i remember correctly they actually had to pay
the studio for damage to their property.
At least Jackie Chan liked it:)

Fookin Arlo Guthrie. Ya got a problem with that?

Good morning America, how are ya?

Penny a point, ain't no one keepun score.

I saw Arlo on some interview show a few years back (however long ago that he would have had teenage kids) and he said his kids loved to get the Woodstock video out and howl with laughter at dad when Arlo says, "I was rappin' with the fuzz..." ;-D

This topic made me think of something -- is there a database that tells what songs are mentioned in any particular Stephen King story? I'd like to know, for instance, all the songs mentioned in "The Body" so I can put my own story soundtrack together.

That .38 Special song, by the way, is great. (So is "Caught Up in You.")

.38 Special kicks @$$.

And in answer to your question:

a partial list of songs featured or mentioned in Stephen King novels and novellas - Stephen King Fans

Thanks for this. It is a great reference, I appreciate it. (I was looking through the songs mentioned in It, and I think, in addition to the ones mentioned, I want to say, if memory serves, that Madonna's "Like a Virgin" was in that one; I assume a mention does not have to include lyrics.)

Here's an interesting thing: when I went to the Castle Rock Jukebox, I noticed an image of what appears to be an autographed book, with a message inscribed in it. Curious if anyone thinks that it is a fake autograph. It really doesn't look like his usual signature (yet, at the same time, I almost recall seeing his name written in that style once or twice). Looks odd to me.

Rrty, Nice use of thoughtful banter in this tread, I was just replying to the "book wish" thread. I saved the draft because my eyes will not stay open. No one wants to see my lunacy.
I can't wait to explore that database either.
Steffan, Pegasus (yes, the hair is still in my face), always a pleasure! Enjoyed the selections.
Doc- hello, I missed a few - . .Muskie inspired me to listen to his suggestion first.
Night folks-thanks for being here!
Oh yea, Swifty! Hope you had fun at the wedding!
