I've done it, many people use them for polishing stones as well.I'm not sure. I've never seen one used for polishing, but that doesn't mean it can't happen.
This is why I'm here; that's Dean Winters! (Or is it his brother? I always get them confused.) he was in OZ and SUV, remember?
Dude, it was just a thought...
Forgive my rampant stupidity; isn't a dremmel for polishing elements and such? Brass, silver, etc. . .?
I'm not sure. I've never seen one used for polishing, but that doesn't mean it can't happen.
I'm wondering if my sarcasm you came through wrong. Of course I know what a dremmel is for! I've owned two or three complete dremmel sets! I mostly used them for buffing and polishing copper, silver, sanding things.
That's not why I'm here.
It's raining today. Co-worker came in said 'mornin' to me. I smiled and said, "It's a lovely day"
He looks at me weird, "What??" Repeated it.
He says, "I thought you said - I love you, Dave"
Laughter ensued.
There was a "you" accidentally inserted around sarcasm and it was meant to be my sarcasm. I've always used my dremmels for polishing and buffing rocks and jewelry, occasionally sanding small things need to be sanded. I've only seen geologists, metaphysical shops jewelry makers, craft smiths, and others thers do the same, although I've never thought to use a Dremel to cut through anything like a steel pipe. They're kind of small for bathroom plumbing. I'm probably wrong because I know dremmels have a lot more uses than that what I have use them for.Mmmmmkaaay........ I don't get it......

...ever put one of those through yer foot?....Oh sure. At my old job we had air-powered ones we used to polish hard to reach areas on orthopedic implants (such as the box between the condyles of knees) and instruments. Various heads and compounds for a variety of finishes. Ours were some high-dollar, high-tech tools, though, nothing like them chintzy store-bought thingies. I was pretty handy with em, I tells ye.
LOL Ms Mod knows Sunny well.

And Sunny, I'm waiting! No talk of using the flamethrower, no pointy stick, no old stump? Hmmm... Need a tissue there Sunny... appears to be something brown on your nose.
Yup, I have been thinking of the things you can do with it.I'm asking for this for Christmas........Just think of the things I can do!!!
