Gotta love our Federal government and their constant intrusion into our lives. According to government standards, no showerhead can have a water flow rate greater than 2.5 gallons per minute at a standardized pressure of 80 psi.I'm kinda bummed about the shower head in my bathroom. It has been leaking for a while and I'm going to need to replace it soon. The reason I'm bummed is because it's an old shower head without the water saving features that the new ones have. Don't get me wrong, I'm a big proponent of doing everything possible to save water. I believe that we are facing a serious issue with declining aquifer levels and I have water saving devices and appliances and I complain to people that water their grass too much. BUT, I love my old school high velocity shower head and don't want to give it up. There's nothing quite like feeling your skin is about to be peeled off by the water pressure from your shower head. On a cold morning, being blasted by hot water at three times the PSI allowed by law is almost as good as that first cup of coffee. I'll drink less water every day if they just let me have another shower head like the one I have.

There’s a sneaky way, though to fix that...
plumbing - How can I get my shower head to increase water pressure? - Home Improvement Stack Exchange
(but beware the water pressure police, so don't hire a plumber to do it )
In that case...I've tried modifying shower heads before and it helps some but it's just not the same as the 1972 Blaster 300 model. I'm all for water saving in other things but that shower head is tough to give up.

Maybe I can buy a fire hose nozzle and covert it into a shower head.
Well don't keep us in suspense - what is Juho's sister's baby girl's new name?
Congratulations!
Sorry to read about your cat Neesy I remember when we had to put our cat and dog to sleep it was awful, I wanted to stay in the room with them but it was too upsetting to do so.
Anyhoo, haven't been in for a few weeks so just wanted to let you all know myself and the bump are doing much better. Bleeding has all stopped, and the last scans showed he's a boy and appears totally healthy...even though he definitely resembles a little alien but I've been assured they all look like that on ultrasound scans.
Hope everyone is doing well, have a great Thanksgiving to all who celebrate.
