I thought this was interesting.

Signs a Crazymaker Is Ruining Your Life

Crazymakers are people who thwart the creativity of those they purportedly love. Crazymakers can turn up anywhere—they could be your spouse, your child, your neighbor, your boss. If you are involved with a crazymaker, you probably know it. All crazymakers share certain qualities:

    • Crazymakers break deals and ignore schedules.

    • Crazymakers expect the world to cater to their whims.

    • Crazymakers discount your perceptions.

    • Crazymakers spend your time and your money.

    • Crazymakers triangulate those they deal with.

    • Crazymakers are superior blamers.

    • Crazymakers create dramas—but seldom where they belong.

    • Crazymakers hate schedules—except their own.

    • Crazymakers love chaos.

    • Crazymakers deny that they are crazymakers.

So... children, then. ;)

Ok, so you kjow the song about"if you wanna be happy for the rest of your life, never make a pretty woman your wife..."? I keep wodering if the guy that did that song was married and how his wife felt about either being called "ugly" or in an unhappy marriage.

This trivial crap in my head is the reason I can't remember important things.

So funny you mentioned this! My mom was at a Christmas party and they were playing a movie trivia game. This song was in Mermaids. My mom knew it (and she used to sing it all the time!:)). Well, a guy started singing it at the party and his wife got totally offended that he even knew the song!

I had a wonderful and weird situation happen to me Sunday. I was at the gas station and this lady came up to me and said that I want to pay for your gas. I am normally not at a loss of words. I told her that she did not need to do that. She said that she was paying it forward. I will pay forward to someone else indeed. Just not used to people being so generous.

I just don't get this. If someone comes up to me and says "I want to pay for your gas", I'm immediately checking behind me to see who's creeping up from behind with a crowbar, not falling for the distraction....no free lunches says I.

I have seen churches or Random Acts Of Kindness do these kinds of selfless acts. I've seen people pay for other people's groceries or gas or even items at Walmart. I have only had a stranger offer to buy my meal at a restaurant but that's been ages. Yes, Arista, it is unusual but I think it's a great thing. It is a gentle reminder that brotherhood and stewardship grease the wheels of this rusty, stone cold world. Ghost, you made me laugh with that crowbar remark. :adoration:
