((((Lepp)))) positive vibes for the biopsy results and for the insurance mess.
((((Kurben)))) healing vibes to you.
We have the flu here. I got up Saturday morning feeling just a little off, and by Saturday night, I was down for the count. 102 fever, body aches, the whole nine yards. Then Sunday we lost Jinx. I was down til Tuesday. I feel better except some congestion and just being so darn weak.
Evan has it now, though. 2nd day home from school today. He has the fever but not the aches.
It is all over town, the hospital and nursing homes have imposed visiting restrictions and the office lady at Evan's school said they were sending kids home left and right with high fevers.
Had to do some housework this morning though. Have Directv coming, been having lots of trouble with my receivers.
Have a 12-4 o'clock window of arrival, everything is as good as it is getting.
Hope you are having a good day! Big hugs and positive vibes to all!
....orrrrrr, you could just slug back a coupla capfuls of that Arkansas 'shine.......I had a few bouts with severe gout a few years ago sir. It was just about the most severe pain I've encountered. The doc recommended a daily dose of a vitamin called Apple Cider Vinegar which a very cheap vitamin available at any local supermarket. I've been taking it for about ten years now without any further flare ups. I take two 450mg capsules a day. I'm no doc, but it seems to have done something since it's been a bunch of years since I had further bouts of it.
Gout is no joke. I had it in my knee a few years back and the pain was incredible. I noticed that it occurred after a summer when I was drinking a lot of beer and had made a pretty big (bad) change to my diet. Now I'm careful with beer, beef, and anything with nitrates. I do notice that I get twinges when I overdo any of these things. Kinda sucks.Back from the emergency visit. The doctor thought it was a case of gout. Me? Gout? i asked. Yes! so i got some medicines, Antiinflammatory and painkillers and he also said that they should start an investigation to answer how severe it is. My ordinary doc will call me monday and we will agree on a time when the investigation start. Have no clue how that is done but guess they know what they are talking about. He also advised me to rest the foot today while the medicine took time to do their thing.
I have gotten some pills that i shall take continously for a while. It started small on monday evening but by wednesday it was the worst pain i ever felt, maybe even worse then when i broke my leg some years back (or maybe itsjust that its more recent.Gout is no joke. No beer and beef!!!!!!!!!!!!! I will wither away and die. Is chicken OK?
Introducing cousins Larry, Daryl, and my other cousin Daryl. My days of sippin' shine are long behind me but I have sampled a few local brews here that would double as race car fuel......orrrrrr, you could just slug back a coupla capfuls of that Arkansas 'shine.......
I've tried a few Cabernets that tasted like turpentine with just a hint of road tar!Introducing cousins Larry, Daryl, and my other cousin Daryl. My days of sippin' shine are long behind me but I have sampled a few local brews here that would double as race car fuel..

I've never tried moonshine. Think I live waaaaaaaay too far north!!We used to have a yearly crawfish boil when I worked at the PD. My Sergeant was from New Orleans and he could boil some crawfish. It was an event that we all pitched in and helped plan for about a month before. It was our super bowl...lol, The problem was, every year, and I mean EVERY year someone would produce 3 or 4 mason jars full of moonshine during the course of the evening. Boiled crawfish is not easy on the stomach, at least it isn't on mine, add a few swallows of moonshine over the course of the evening?? We always had them on Saturday nights which was a good thing because I needed Sunday to recuperate. By recuperate I mean sometimes waking up on his floor/couch/or, on one occasion, on his back porch and driving myself home. I usually had to be badgered to drink moonshine, my taste would completely revolt against it until about the third drink, after that they just gave up and died. There are pictures somewhere and I have no desire to see them...ever. lol

Yup. And beer and beef are okay, in moderation (for me, anyway--you could be different). My original statement was, "No beer, beef, or bacon?! I might just as well die!" It isn't that bad, really--I'd gone overboard with the not so great for me food that summer, anyway.I have gotten some pills that i shall take continously for a while. Nah. You can buy commercial stuff in the liquor store (lol). My aunt's husband made some a couple of years ago--nasty stuff!I've never tried moonshine. Think I live waaaaaaaay too far north!!
Kurben! What did you do? Maybe you have gout.

Youre a doctor extraordinaire... But i dont actually drink so much beer, no fun to drink alone, but i might go for more chicken instead of beef...... See what the doctor has to say.yo yo yo . -- who called this one? Maybe I should be a doctor.
I think the key here is your diet.
Not missing anything, that I can assure you. Drinking isopropyl alcohol would be somewhere in the neighborhood as far as smell goes. You couldn't pay me to drink any now at my age....blech!I've never tried moonshine. Think I live waaaaaaaay too far north!!
