I applied for two other jobs today...
But I think I earned me a beer this evening.
The snow has just started here, in the last 30 minutes. Storm is tracking farther north, so now we are expected to get 5 or 6 inches today. Family back home in Nebraska are expecting 8-12!
Scott has his follow up with the surgeon today. He will see her and not the PA today. Hopefully she is pleased! The therapists are wanting to start the industrial pt soon, they just need her go ahead. He is not thrilled with that. Starting at 2 hrs a day, 4 days a week up to 4 hrs a day, 5 days a week....he doesn't want to do that. So we'll see what happens.
So, have to go out for the Dr appt, but other than that, should be quiet day at home, watching it snow! Hope everyone has a great day! Big hugs and positive vibes to all!

Nothing says you can't keep applying in your field, but until then taking any job is an opportunity to show that 1) you are employable, 2) you are responsible, 3) you have an ability to prioritize. Adults need to work, and a future employer will see that you are an adult who understands how the world works.

This was a 6 tissue episode of This Is Us. I couldn't do it, except that there have been episodes that have had me guffawing, as well. I was laughing just telling my younger daughter about some of them. My oldest daughter got me hooked on the show, and now I've hooked the two younger kids. Does anyone else watch?

I did start but I am not really all that into it yet - so far I am enjoying it - pretty sure I recorded last nights episode so I'll watch it tonight
I found a wonderful new gift for DiO as well.......
I love this show! I am 2 episodes behind. Have been putting off watching because of the tissue factor! I am thinking I will catch up Monday, Scott has to go to MSHA refresher that day, (he was cleared to go, since it is just a class, but no joining in on any "what not to do" activities or anything like that) so I will have the house to myself and can ugly sob if I see fit.

The storm dropped all its snow before it got to us. We have maybe 2 inches is all. They got walloped back in Nebraska, though, had a foot by noon and ended up with 18-20 where I grew up. Everyone back there is getting a 4 day weekend!
Dr visit went well yesterday. He was supposed to see the surgeon, saw the PA again. But she was much happier with Scott's range of motion than last time. Pretty much was an in and out visit, told him to keep doing what he was doing at therapy, signed off on switching to industrial pt in a week or so, and he got his way with that, too. She wrote a note to concentrate on upper body only. I just rolled my eyes, I think he should have at least tried what they wanted to do before complaining. But no use arguing. He goes back in 6 wks for next follow up, and she said he should be very close by then to be able to return to work.
My turn to take kiddos to school today, then pt. Hope you all have a great Friday and a happy, relaxing weekend! Big hugs and positive vibes to all!
