The Color Purple was the first film to make me cry in a cinema. Steel Magnolias always gets the tears going.
Me too! Especially the scene at the dinner table towards the end when Miss Ceely makes her stand! Every freaking time!

Dancer in the Dark has to be the saddest movie ever.
I don't mean any disrespect to you Sunny because we have always been aces . . .but, REALLY?
Not a single one? I think it's beautiful to cry when you watch some movies. It feels like a purge of emotions to me . . .like dumping the pains of life. I appreciate your honesty.
Any Disney movie pretty much. But Toy Story 2, when Jesse sings "When She Loved Me" I lose it. I think of all my toys -- some of which I still have, mostly stuffedies -- and I just can't.

I cry at lots of movies and books. Started when I lost my father at 18, got worse after my kids where born. The ending of Insomnia always gets me
