I heard Nights in White Satin just a few days ago while I was in my husband's car and he has satellite radio - so for the first time ever I saw it was "Nights" and not "Knights". I'd always thought of chivalrous men heading off to battle and jousting, wearing not tin suits, but some floaty 70s looking satin jumpsuits. Ever since I was a kid. But no, I think it's about satin sheets? I like my story better!

I loved this song, my parents had it on 45 and I used to play it on my turntable all the time. (*sigh* "turntable", I'm so old...)

Cassette tapes! You had the new fancy technology! I spent a lot of money buying 8-track tapes instead of cassettes, much to my chagrin.
