The Monkees and J. Geils are bananas and apples! In no way are they similar.

J. Geils bands early stuff is top notch rock, blues, and soul. Listen to the Blow Your Face Out live album. All the proof you need!

I'd pick J. Geils Band, Eurythmics, The Cars, Dire Straits, and Bon Jovi

Edited to add that I thought Moody Blues were already there......

I may be old, but Lennox puts the D in Diva. Would I lie to You? I'm not her friend, but i know whats in store. Hall of Fame? Not really. It would be difficult to get 9 off that list. Now, Tell Me Something Good is my new earworm.
I love Eurythmics, but dammit I'm not old enough for them to be inducted!
(all these bands are just aging me... *sigh* )
