39. Creature From The Black Lagoon

"A strange prehistoric beast lurks in the depths of the Amazonian jungle. A group of scientists try to capture the animal and bring it back to civilization for study."

What can I say? It's about a creature. From a black Lagoon. And I'm sad he's alone. He just wants someone to understand him.

36. IT (2017) FTV I liked but have some things to dislike about it too. Changes that seemed unnecessary. The movie never really managed to get through the big friendship between the seven Losers. It was arguments, fights and some really unfriendly behaviour. And why put Bev in the damsel in distress role at the end that must be saved by 6 guys? And Richie was kidding all the time, wasn't serious once. The intelligence he has never comes to the surface. But all in all. OK. Skarsgård was good as Pennywise. He did his own thing and did not try to imitate Tim Curry which was wise.3/5

Glad you liked the movie - I thought the chemistry between the kids was good, however it is hard in a movie to show the depth of feeling they had for each other.

I've seen the movie twice so far and I found the second viewing was even better than the first!

29. The Apparition (FTV)
Housesitting couple finds their house is haunted by an evil presence that was brought on by a technologically boosted seance. The Apparition was seen as a disappointment due to it's failure to capture critical acclaim or find an audience, despite the backing of a major studio (Warner Bros.) and an a potential new star (Ashley Green, who had already made something of a name for herself in the "Twilight" films). So this film has something of a bad rap, but really it ain't as bad as the critics would have you believe. Think of this as a B movie, ignore the blatant product placement (Pepsi and Costco are prominently featured, although not relevant to the plot), and don't overthink it. I liked that they at least were trying a few new ideas; I'd not seen the notion of a technologically amplified seance before, and I liked how the new house began literally rotting right out from under them as the haunting progressed. Yes, it has its flaws, it was never going to become a horror classic, but you could do worse.

3 out of 5 stars.

#29 - Thinner which I had recorded.

So I slowed down the scene where the elderly gypsy lady gets hit by the car. There's blood on the windshield and when he turns on the wipers you CAN actually see a clown's face which looks very much like Pennywise.

I didn't believe it at first so I had to watch it twice. - that's kind of creepy - coincidence? or not?

65.) Supernatural (episodes 1 & 2)

Okay, I am seriously late to the party on this one. It's been airing since 2005 and has a massive fan base, I guess. First two episodes were good, but 12 years??! I might have to watch a few more episodes to see if I can understand the hype.
Morgan, keep watching! I started a couple weeks ago, and am totally addicted. It’s cheesy and seriously silly at times, but I love it! Oh and

67.) 11.22.63 (ep. 5 & 6)

Only a couple episodes left and my interest has been waning. Am hoping for the best for the final two.

I thought the same thing when I was at the point you are at but I thought the show had a strong finish.
I thought it went a little off the rails having the Bill character getting involved with Marina but I thought it got back on track for the final episodes.
