Do they give you anything to take before hand so you're not so stressed about it? If ever you needed Xanax or Valium, now's the time. I'm keeping you in my thoughts and prayers, and for some reason, I feel like these treatments are going to fix you up - believe in it, sister!
No they don't give me anything to keep from stressing. But they do give me numbing drops before the shots, they also dialate the eyes. never had so many eye exams. One at the start of every appointment. Even if I have two or three in the same week.

Hi everyone, things went ok. Much more painful this time. But did get all my paperwork. The one eye really hurts and looks nasty. Thinking perhaps if it is still sore and red tomorrow I will have to call my eye Dr.
I'm sorry to hear that - are these more powerful meds or something? A reason it's worse than normal? Hoping you wake up all better tomorrow.

Nope no weed. Not sure if the doctor would recommend it,but I am sure I would not do it. I did find out it is not Macular degeneration. I have been a diabetic for over 30 years and the doctor said it is diabetic issues and no matter how well you follow your diet, that these type things happen with diabetes and the longer you have had it ,the better chance of it happening. I got my paperwork and as soon as I can see the small writing will update you all. But the eyes are feeling back to normal day. Not red and no pain.

Ok ,here is what I know. I am diagnosed with Retinopathy and Macular Edema. Both diabetic related. He still doesn't believe he can save my eye sight. So blindness is most likely to be in my future. Maybe not soon or at least I hope not soon. I trust the Lord will make that call when timing is right. I just continue to do my normal activities and follow through will all my eye appointments and carry on as normal.
