Tomato soup (homemade--canned is too sweet) and grilled cheese :)

Do you eat regular meals (like, three or whatever, at pretty set times)?
This is my favorite combo also. At Ghost Brothers in Atlanta, Marsha and I went to lunch and I got the most AMAZING grilled cheese and tomato bisque ever. I have wracked my brain trying to figure out what bread and cheese they used, it was so good. and neither of us can remember the restaurant we ate at.

My kids like Jarlsberg on sourdough best--that's our 'fancy' grilled cheese :) In a pinch, though, any bread and cheese works.

Yep!

How many times do you cook per week (as opposed to eat out/take out/delivery)?
Oh wow. Just about all of them. We don't eat out often; maybe twice a month? My husband does a lot of the cooking on weekends--he used to be a chef and finds cooking relaxing.

What is your favorite recipe to make yourself? To have in a restaurant?

Wow, your answer is almost identical to what mine would've been. My husband is also a former chef and we almost always prepare our own meals too.

My favorite recipe to make? I'm not known for my kitchen skills, but my butter cookies from scratch are pretty darn good.
Favorite restaurant meal varies with the place, but in our favorite restaurant, I like surf & turf best.

If you could choose your last meal, what would it be?

Hmmm... Shrimp scampi starter, Steak Theodore, asparagus, mixed green salad (heavy on the spinach) with a good vinaigrette, creme brûlée for dessert. Coffee, and appropriate wines (pinot grigio with the appetizer, rioja with the main course).

And now I'm hungry again (lol)

What would your choice be?

Not really, so I force myself to do it pretty regularly.

What did you want to grow up to be when you were 12?
I was leaning towards nutritionist/dietitian (I think) or maybe that was when I was around 15

Have you ever tried the Weight Watchers program (i.e. on your own, without going to the meetings?)

No, I've never been overweight. (Please don't hate. I eat a lot, just quick metabolism).

Which of your physical attributes do you love most?

I have good healthy thick hair and when I wear a dress with pantyhose I have had compliments on my legs.

(p.s. I don't 'hate' - I used to be skinny but after 10 years of being a medical transcriptionist and sitting all day it is taking its toll on my health)

If your husband cooks, what are some of his best recipes (and if someone else answers this, substitute "spouse" or "significant other" or whatever it is called these days.

Everything--lol. He's a fabulous cook. For years, though, he was the chef in charge of soups & sauces, so those are always absolutely to die for.

Do you exercise? What do you do?

I do the program our fitness coordinator at work has designed for me. It's a combo of aerobic exercise (elliptical/treadmill) and strength training.

Have you ever started a walking program where you keep track of your progress?
(I think I might pick up a pedometer if I can find a good one that is not too expensive).

Depends on the time of year and our family's schedule. Currently, I do a daily routine similar to pilates. And hubby and I go hiking once a week.

You have $100 you have to spend on yourself...not bills, not kids, not necessities. What do you buy?

Sorry, Neesy, I didn't see your reply until after I posted mine.

No problem 80sFan - I have done the same thing myself at times.

I would take that 100 bucks and add a couple hundred more (would that be allowed?) - maybe buy a tablet or whatever those devices are called (like an Apple iPad only I might get the Android version as that is what I am used to) - [my phone screen is too small].

Have you ever shown up a few minutes late for something? If so, what do you do?

Sure, that's allowed. Good answer :)

If I'm late, I apologize and then get on with it (I usually am on time or early for things, though).

Have you ever cancelled plans with someone because something better came along?

No - that would be pretty crude behavior I think.

Did you date much before you met your partner/husband/main squeeze :umm:

Yes.

Yes.

Is SKMB usually the first site you visit when you go online?
No, but only because FB loads the fastest (is it their servers? no idea). If I hit FB first, it opens right away and then I can go wherever I want. If I try to open anything else first, it takes longer to open.

How much time do you spend online in an average day?
