Watched Blondie's New York and the Making of Parallel Lines (2014) on Netflix. Interesting info about the songs and lyrics on the album. Would love to see a docu about the personal bios of the band members, especially Debbie Harry. She was so incredibly beautiful (and still looks amazing at 70 :) ).

I knew the woman who started that camp. My mom used to clean her house. She wasn't always the way she is now.
I wonder what takes people down the road to religious fanaticism. What happens to their minds that makes them believe that killing people is something God requires of them to be holy? Nobody is born a jihadi, at least I wouldn't imagine they are.
One day you are having a nice cup of tea with a lady and then the next thing you know, she's declaring war on you, burning down your house and salting your seeds.
I've got to find some nicer things to watch on Netflix.

Has anyone watched the Marlon Brando doc on Showtime? It's interesting. I never knew he was so different. I thought he was just another hunk. There's some depth there. I love him even more. I would like to have known more about him, but he didn't like to share. God, he was some kind of handsome though. I'm so shallow sometimes.

Watched Soaked in Bleach (2015) on Netflix the other day. An entirely different view on the death of Kurt Cobain than in the docu Kurt & Courtney (1998) I watched several years ago! Part of me wishes they would re-open this case, take it outside of the local jurisdiction, and determine whether or not Courtney Love played a role in Cobain's death. That would be a huge drain of resources, though.

That sounds like the same one who invited her over and served her left-overs for her birthday. I wonder how many of those TV preachers and people like the Reverend in Revival are truly believers (or just looking to cash in).

Best of Enemies -- This documentary is on netflix now and is about Gore Vidal and Wm. Buckley, Jr. So interesting. I would very much like to know Stephen King's opinion about these men. And throw in Norman Mailer too. They were the "debaters" of that generation and wonder if any of the Garbage Trucks might touch on these guys and their debates.

One thing I like to do is to take my kindle into the kitchen with me when I cook. Sometimes I listen to music, but more often than not, I watch documentaries on Netflix. I have been watching the TED Talks things lately. The Chew on This series goes really well with cooking.
