Hi everyone. I just got done with SK's 11/22/63 and loved it. Great combination of historical events and character developments. I really enjoyed the end and how SK wrapped up the story. My question:
I hated to see this book end but thoroughly enjoyed it. Thoughts?

Hypothetically, after the song finishes and 80 year old Sadie and 45 year old Jake stop dancing to "In the mood", where do they go from there? From immediately afterwards to a possible relationship. My theories:
1). Jake says thank you for the dance and slips into the night. I don't think this is realistic because Sadie partly remembers him and he has too much invested in his feelings for her. I don't think this is an option.
2). Jake and Sadie rekindle their love and become a couple again. I don't think this is an option either because Sadie remembers Jake faintly but not good enough to start a romantic relationship this late in her life with a middle age man. Plus what would the neighbors really think now?
3). I think the most realistic relationship would be a solid friendship that consist of non-intimate relationship (they both realize that ship has sailed). Kinda a Sunday afternoon to talk and discuss their common bond. Jake would have to tip toe very carefully how he presented to Sadie on their previous relationship.
