This coming weekend it's 20 years ago since M/S Estonia sunk. Time of the
accident the ship had 989 people, which 852 people died. Most of the passengers was
from Estonia or Sweden, but there was also people from three other countries. No
Finns was on board. The ship sunk September 28 1994 at 1.50 am
The ship was on the way from Stockholm to Estonia.

I remember it well. The governments concerned agreed to make the place a gravesite. Meaning it had the same sanctuary as a grave. No divings allowed. That has been violated. Diving gear much better now than 20 years back so people have been diving collecting souvenirs to sell which upsets the relatives of the victims. It is a crime but it is difficult to catch them and it sank on international water.

I was 7 years old at the time when Estonia sank and don't remember anything of it. I watched some old news from youtube and
there was Finns on the ship, but they survived.
I found another video that I just watched, it's just horrible to see what these people had to go through that night.

I was really young when it happened but i remember seeing a show on some channel about it not that long ago

I was unmoderated yesterday and then found myself moderated again. Very mysterious!
