May I ask why
Some traditions have been upheld, but some aspects of the story are different this year. We're still posting the story serial-style with a daily segment, but each author and their installment will remain anonymous until Halloween. We'll do the big reveal then.

Yeah, I don't get why some of the people wanted each author to be anonymous until Halloween and then a big reveal. Seems like a missed opportunity for newbies to get accolades to me, but thats the way it is this year.

I have only been here four years. I enjoyed the Halloween Story every year.
Is there some discord or competition going on? I didn't see/read/notice/ before in the time I have been a member.
Or is it a *Guess Who* wrote that segment?

The writers themselves don't know the ending to the story yet.

It was just a suggestion from a writer, nothing to do with discord or animosity. I think that writer just wanted to increase the suspense! No one HAS to play "Guess who wrote this chapter"... but I'd bet there are a few who will be doing exactly that--lol!
