#27) Halloween 2 (2009) by Rob Zombie .. This is not a remake of the Halloween 2 classic.. Zombie made this film to show the link between Michael and Laurie .. throughout the movie it shows Laurie progressing into insanity, even having some of the same 'visions' as Michael Myers. Mrs Myers, who killed herself in the first movie, shows up in the visions of Michael and Laurie with a white horse. At the beginning of Halloween 2, Zombie uses the definition of a WHITE HORSE in one's dreams, excerpted from The Subconscious Psychosis of Dreams:
"Linked to instinct, purity, and the drive of the physical body to release powerful and emotional forces, like rage with ensuing chaos and destruction." 5 out of 5 stars

#28) The Lords Of Salem (2013) This film is written and directed by Rob Zombie. It begins back in 1696, Reverend Jonathan Hawthorne (Andrew Prine) condemned a coven of witches led by Margaret Morgan (Meg Foster) to death, burning them without remorse in the woods surrounding Salem. Then it leaps forward 300 years to modern day Salem, where a disc jockey receives a package containing an album from an unknown group named The Lords.. when she plays it, well.. I won't ruin it for those who haven't seen it. Great film for those that follow Rob Zombie... not sure how well everyone else would like it. 4.5 out of 5 stars

8) Neverlake-2012 creeper. British girl who has been at boarding school goes to visit her estranged father in Tuscany. There she recites poetry and plays, meets some damned weird kids, and has horrifying dreams about blood and gigantic bites being taken out of her. All tied up with a magic lake and Etruscan idols. Weird, but fascinating movie. It doesn't make logical sense in parts, but it has a strange dream-logic. I liked it! (FTV)

#29) Trick or Treat (1986) Silly movie... Boy worships devil worshipping rock star who dies and comes back. Been years since I saw this.. and now I remember why. I think the only reason I bought it was because it has guest appearances of Gene Simmons and Ozzy. 1 out of 5 stars
This isn't the same Trick or Treat that I viewed. The one I saw didn't have rock star worshiping teens, or Gene or Ozzy.....
The one I watched was actually fairly good.

7. What Have You Done To Solange? (FTV)
A professor witnesses the murder of a student, while having an affair with another, and soon becomes a suspect himself. If you like Italian giallo films, this is one of the better ones out there, outside of Bava or Argento. Everything you want in a giallo is here: upraised knives, gloved hands, mysterious callers, pretty girls in various states of gratuitous undress, violence, weird priests, a dark story from the past, and a plot full of twists and turns. Sure, the story drags a bit in places, and leading man Fabio Testi looks distressingly like Jesus as an Italian male supermodel while having some very questionable morals about fidelity, but you'll be kept wondering whodunnit right up to the very end.

4 out of 5 stars.

7. Re-Animator -- Well, that was special, wasn't it? Extremely cheesy, but I thought the Re-Animator student doctor guy gave his character a unique persona. 2 out of 5. And that damn pervy head guy! He had no lungs to talk but of course, his body was still moving around anyway, so once you suspend disbelief on one thing, you just gotta go with it.

13.) Area 51 -- (2015) Not very good or wellacted. Handheld camera type of movie. 3 teens try to get into this secret base to figure out the mysteries. I saw it for sentimental reasons because it was partly shot at Little Ale Inn just outside Area 51 where i've been. The owners believe in the aliens. But they also know how to make a good burger and have a good beer. But as a movie it was a no win.
14.) Toxin -- with Danny Glover and Vinnie Jones in secondary parts. An undefined virus is spread over an old women because she is supposed to have antibodies. Grandson and friends steps in to help. But how to fight a virus...? This is much better. Easily watchable even if its not very original or will go down in movie history. It was a bit over OK.
