I can’t read it because of that overlapping issue. Can’t follow a lot of threads either that use a lot of quotes and pictures like the Halloween movie thread. People think I’m probably an ass (quiet Sunny, Flake, CAT, do you, etc...etc... :biggrin-new: ) for not liking their posts, but I can’t see the like button!!
I warned you about eating those crunch berries.......

To all that were kind enough to appreciate my humble effort of writing. Thank you!! It was kind of special this year when we decided to add some humorous pieces to the story. Everyone else here seem to have a natural flair for it but its really not my forte. But i did my best and am glad for the appreciation of it. It was a challenge.

I know what you mean, my piece has no comedy in it, I'm not a big fan of mixing comedy with the serious but it works here a lot better than in other things.

Yeah, its a difficult balance but somehow i think we managed to walk the line, as they say.... And your piece was the starting one, everything needed to be get going. It is much more difficult to add comedy then. When the story has started rolling you can sneak it in easier.

I find that most mainstream blockbuster type movies tend to have really weird comedy sections in supposedly serious movies. Take those superhero movies for instance, some of them are very serious at one point and then go on and become straight up comedies. You can do horror style comedy, but some people aren't into that at all, glad to say I'm not one of those though!
