I haven't had a chance to watch Breaking Bad - when I'm not painting closets or cooking, I'm tending rug rats or reading or sleeping. But I'll try and check an episode out and see what I think. I bet we all have very clear ideas who those DT characters are for us on a deeply personal level. Has Stephen King ever voiced an opinion on who he thinks should play any of them, Marsha @Moderator ? I'd love to hear his thoughts on that. And while I think Ron Howard would do one of the best jobs possible bringing the books to the screen, I'm still worried about how it might go. I was all psyched about Under the Dome, and I didn't even last 1 entire episode.

I don't recall that he has ever had any strong feelings about a particular actor for a part in the Dark Tower. I think at this point he's more likely to go the other way around, i.e. if they suggest someone he has strong feelings about not being cast, he'd voice them but is giving them a chance to do their job for casting.

So this means the The Beibes may be out of the running?
