His movie Tank was filmed at Ft. Benning when we were stationed there.

When he yells "Your division sergeant major is all alone on the Battalion field!" And all those soldiers run out in banana suits, my ex was one of 'em. That's where he worked. Of course, that's nowhere near where they REALLY did pt.

I grew up watching him. He's always been one of my favorites. RIP.
Very sad news. He was one of my all time favorites.

This really makes me very sad. Loved him in The Rockford files. Loved him in Victor/Victoria. I don't think any other actor could have done justice to his part in V/V. He was brilliant! Great, great actor!
