The 60's, they will never be forgotten. My daughter asked me to write about the 60's, about all that went on and about me as well (she is
getting some about me, not all). It's still a work in progress. Not sure if it's because there is so much to write about or I am just long
winded. I've had some help with the music of the 60's from an expert (you know who you are).
Anyways, off topic there, I guess my best memory is the Sgt. from Detroit I wrote to in Vietnam. I can't remember how I got on some list in an American
military magazine for those willing to and wanting to write to a serviceman there. We wrote back and forth for over 3 years. Very long letters
a few times a week. When he was discharged he called me one morning at 5 am and we talked until 2 that afternoon. The conversation was
just as great as the letters. We didn't keep in contact much after 2 years of being discharged. I always wondered how he did and if he did
get that red Charger he always wrote about. I like to think he is well and did get that car of his dreams.

Having read all of the crisism of the '60s and about all of those "dangerous toys" and lack of safety equipment, it make one wonder, how did we ever survive it?
