Beer for taste and pleasure:

Guinness
1554 Black Ale (New Belgium)
Stouts in general
Sunshine wheat, or good wheat beers in general, on a hot day.

Beer after playing sports:

Lagers. Bud, Coors, Molson, Moosehead. Anything that's that close to water goes down easily.

Wine:

Red: Malbec, shiraz. Nice cab or zin is fine.
White: Chardonnay, pinot grigio.
Sparkling: Schramsberg Blanc du Blanc

Rum:

For special sipping or mixing, Myers's
For regular mixing, Bacardi Select

Tequila:

Don Julio anejo or reposado
Cabo Wabo resposado (I just like to say that)
Pretty much, anejos and reposados
Margaritas. Margaritas are a great distribution vector for cheap tequila.

Vodka:

Vanilla vodka in coffee is nice. Other than that, I'll take my vodka in Jell-O shots.

Gin:

No.

Scotch:

At least 12 years
Lagavulin
Macallan
Balvenie Double Wood
Highland Park

Dessert:

Baby Guinness - a shot of Kahlua with a layer of Bailey's on top.
Hi Grandpa. :)

I have a few.....
I like a shot of Bailey's Irish Cream in my hot coffee now and then (usually at Christmas time).

or even better:

Irish coffee made with Irish whiskey, hot coffee and whipped cream on top. And if you get it when you are out at a restaurant they usually rim the glass cup with large sugar granules - yummy!

Dry red wines have historically been my drink of choice, though in recent years I prefer Texas margaritas (lime margarita with half a shot of Gran Marnier).

Any Scotch drinking members might appreciate knowing that I found an excellent single malt (Highlands) at Costco for under $25/750ml.
That sounds like a good deal (and more appetizing than the Sheep Dip blended Scotch whiskey!

I'm getting a buzz just reading this thread . . .

I like wine. Used to drink beer and lots of Jack Daniel's. Beer makes me too bloated. Jack will make you feel superior . . .well it did for me. Made me a little too bold. Made me wanna just walk up and kiss somebody else's boyfriend!

It gives me the "I love you's" too girl. We are very much alike, I think.

We need a party, and Dana Jean can be our designated driver. She'd make sure we didn't get into too much trouble.
