I got an offer for half off the Prime price--$49 rather than $99/yr. Can't decide if it's worth the money for me, though. Things that make you go hmmmmmm...

I have it and I like it but if you don't care about those two things you mentioned then eh. I order a lot from them. It does include free movie and TV streaming and song downloads as well. It's just, like, too much bother, really. I mean, I order a lot of books, but get em cheap and fast enough now. 99 bucks? Even 49 bucks, and I'm thinkin, "I could buy a lot of books with that."
Especially if you buy most of your books secondhand, like I do
