Any supper made by my Mom (who unfortunately has moved on to The Clearing)

Do you eat Greek yogurt?
I didn't care for the brand I tried. I don't know if all Greek yogurt tastes that way. I just bought some vanilla yogurt yesterday.

Do you like to crockpot?

When I plan that far ahead. I'm terrible at remembering to thaw meat.

What is your favorite crockpot meal?
I'd say the best one I've made was some chili once, but when I tried the same recipe the second time it wasn't nearly as good. I don't know what went wrong. I'm eating some brisket now that I made overnight. It's really good.

Do you bake? If so do you have a good cupcake recipe?

I bake cookies/muffins from scratch. Cupcakes from a box mix. Sorry, Blunt!

If you have to bring food to a party, what do you bring?
Usually some squares, from a book called "150 Delicious Squares" by Jean Paré

If you could afford to hire a cleaner/housekeeper, would you?

Nope. Because I'd have to clean the house before anyone came to clean it. I know that sounds nuts but I'm a neat freak.

Would YOU hire a cleaning person?
Well, like you, I don't like people to see dust, etc. however I have considered getting Molly Maid or one of those companies to come in.
(I used to be able to work full time and still keep a clean house, but now I am getting more tired from anemia or something) - I need more energy!

Do you ever worry about anything or are you pretty happy go lucky most of the time?

I think I worry constantly. When I was a kid I was happy-go-lucky.

Do you contribute to charities?

I will donate to the Salvation Army. (I guess fundraisers count, too?) - I often buy 20 dollar T-shirts at Cancer Care Manitoba and
all the money goes to cancer research.

Oh yes (just remembered) I bought a lot of teddy bears from the Children's Hospital as well. I gave 10 dollars to a poor guy at the coffee shop at Health Sciences Centre one day. He was asking for money and seemed very down on his luck.

How far back can you trace your ancestry or family history?

I only know from what my mom and dad told me which is from what my dad's parent's told him, so it's hearsay. I know I have Irish blood. I've considered trying out Ancestry.com or some such but can't imagine paying monthly for the right.

How about you? What roots do you have?

Like you, I went by what Mom told me. She said her brother in Scotland had traced the family on her side back to a place Blair Atholl in Scotland. On my Dad's side it was all French from Quebec

Do you plan on doing much outside this winter? (I want to start an outdoor walking program but it gets dam* cold up here!)

(Gorgeous pic!)

I plan on doing as little outside as possible this winter, but unfortunately lately that's been my habit anyway.

What country would you visit first if given a free trip?

It's a toss up between New Zealand and Australia

Do you prefer to buy gifts long in advance or are you a last minute shopper?

Due to being perfectionistic a melancholy temperament (me) likes to plan well in advance, disliking the pressure of last minute decisions. Ironically, the perfectionist is also very subject to procrastination because even the simplest of chores become burdensome projects. So in terms of gift giving it depends on the occasion. I don't give Christmas gifts because there are too many of us to buy for, partly due to the expense but mostly due to all those decisions. For a birthday gift, on the other hand, it depends on the person, but I buy a thought out gift in advance, though sometimes it's a spontaneous choice.

Do you buy many Christmas gifts?

No - I like to try to keep it simple

Have you ever had an urge to just throw all your junk/stuff out and downsize?
