(PS...I believe a 'super mailbox' is a bank of mailboxes grouped in a central location. We live in a rural area and mail carrier doesn't deliver to our door. We have a box less than a mile away we have to access with a key).
Probably It's a Wonderful Life, but The Flight of the Phoenix springs to mind. Not to mention Vertigo, Bringing Up Baby, etc.

Yes, I used to play every day after work when I worked up at Walgett. Kangaroos would be standing in the middle of the fairway. We had a club called 'Mugs' (Men's United Golf Society) and every Friday during school term we'd go back to the 19th hole for a few.

I don't know that it's necessarily a "habit," but I name all my houseplants after girls I once dated. That fulfills at least one of the qualifiers, I should think.

Hmmm - that is a tough one - most of the places I have to on vacation have been good. (Maybe Quebec as in Mont Tremblant in the summer) - we only found out at the end of our weekend that the posted rate was per person, not per couple!

The carrier doesn't bring our mail to our door either... but ours is down the road, no lock tho. She does bring boxes down here , but only because she knows us.
Not sure what you mean.. perhaps anything out of the ordinary?? No.. just love to relax and be with the family. Eat a huge meal and visit.... but at some point during the week of Christmas, we go to a nursing home and take a gift to someone whom the DON says doesn't have visitors. It usually isn't on Christmas Day tho, because we are too busy on that day. We probably should tho.
