my McDonald's guilty pleasures are worse than yours. They are: Big Mac, 2 Hamburgers with a vanilla milk shake or Sausage McGriddle! I don't eat them often either, but, YUM!!!!!

Neutral everywhere. All beige and white. I like colors, dark earthy colors... but my husband likes everything vanilla.

Do you drink coffee? If so, how do you like it? If not, do you drink any kind of hot drinks?
(Light colored walls make a room look bigger.)

I drink coffee everyday unless I'm sick. No matter what I try other than just black I always return to just black.

Do you consider yourself a formal or casual type?

Casual definitely! I'm all about the comfort - it's cool to look good but it's so much work and for women very very very uncomfortable! Unless it's a sundress - comfy AND attractive!

When you work on something, do chores etc., are you slow and methodical or fast and furious?

I'm a perfectionist, so any chore seems a project to be completed with excellence. This isn't always possible, or even often possible, which causes me to hesitate before starting because now the result will be unsatisfying. So, when I work on something like a hobby, which I haven't done in years, I take as long as it takes to be satisfying to a perfectionist.

Do you like sweaters for any non-weather related reason?

I like to put a sweater on hot from the dryer while I am folding my clothes on cooler days (my basement is unfinished and it gets chilly down there)

When was the last time you celebrated a special occasion with something seasonal or traditional e.g. a family style dinner

I had Thanksgiving dinner with some friends this past November. It was very nice.

You're stranded somewhere that's not a library or DVD store or music store. (There's more...) There's food, but nothing else except a light, a DVR, and a CD player. You're allowed one book, one movie, and one song. What are they?

Great question!

Have you ever seen a real bat?

I should've posted "live bat." Not to be confused with a baseball bat! :)
Oh I have - we had some living in our chimney one summer. They are pretty cool creatures. I liked them because they kept the wasps away. But they were only here for one summer. They never came back.

Question: How do you comfort yourself when you're down?

Oh wow, such ideal choices. I adore each of them.

I've seen a fair number of bats, from childhood when they used to fly around the streetlights on the corner and catch bugs to when I had to capture one in my house in Michigan. That was an interesting little experience.

Have you been to Niagara Falls?

I KNOW I am open minded! I hold strong to my beliefs, but I believe you can be strongly convicted and open minded at the same time...

Do you gamble? If so, what type?

I probably have, at least temporarily. But I'm afraid of the word "hate" and avoid thinking it about another person. I try to remember that people have their reasons for being the way they are. Besides, if someone dislikes or mistreats there it might be something in myself that I needs to be changed. In this sense sometimes the person we need in our lives is the last person we want there.

If/when you can do you spend much time outdoors?

I prefer to be outdoors all the time when it's warm. I love the beach, tennis, golf, site seeing. The only thing I don't like about warmer weather is bees and bugs! If it's below 50, I'd rather be inside unless I was ice skating or skiing. I love sports but HATE sitting outside in the cold watching a football game! Need to be moving in the cold!

Do you wear a watch? If so, what kind/style?

I don't wear a watch. I use my phone to know the time. I don't like to wear jewelry or extra things.

Do you sometimes like to sleep on the couch?

Now and then if it is too hot - I like air conditioning and Andy says it gives him a headache

Would you cross a border to go shopping for a weekend away?

Probably not, I'm not much for shopping. Unless it was something I really needed like a certain outfit for a certain occasion. I love clothes etc., but shopping to me is like work. I just want them to magically appear in my closet and be the perfect look and fit! (... not asking for too much!)

Speaking of magic - if you could magically be given a talent or ability, what would you wish for?

I think to be able to speak and understand every language in the world

Do you cook or bake much? (or have any other creative hobbies?)

I cook and bake for others much more than I'd like to!
I used to write poetry and short stories. I've made jewelry in the past and used to crochet a lot. I'm currently back into needle point.

Are you double jointed?
