I try to act optimistic, but am really VERY pessimistic and cynical. :(

What did you have for breakfast this morning?
Toast (whole wheat) with Cheez Whiz and a cup of coffee
plus a cup of hot tea in a travel mug for the drive in to work.

Have you ever owned an unusual pet i.e. hedgehog or gerbil - something like that?

That's a hard question to answer. I used to think I wanted 5 or 6 kids when I was young, but, I made so many mistakes my inclination is to say no .... I certainly would do things a lot different if so, hind sight being what it is...

Do you prefer to have things planned out in advance or be spontaneous? If you are a planner, do you feel the entire trip/event (whatever) is "ruined" if not gone according to plan, or are you able to adjust?

I used to rely on plans more than I do now. Plans always become altered regardless; they're unreliable, so I need, value and trust some spontaneity in my life.

Do you worry more than average about the future?

Nope. I think my worries are average at best. I always think what's the worst that can happen, and normally that puts normal mundane life stuff in perspective for me. Plus, at 51, I feel like most of the impactful major stuff is past. I'm either going to do what needs to be done or not. Up to me.

If you didn't have a job, would you do volunteer work and/or take up a hobby of some sort? If so, what and/or what would you do in the place of work/a job?

I have an small to average size family I believe. A brother and a sister (with a handful of nieces and 1 nephew) and I have 2 boys of my own. We are not super close, all have kinda gone our own ways, even though we are not that far from each other.

Is there anyone in your family you are closest to? If so, why are you so close?

My Uncle Allan, because he's always been like a big brother to me.

When are you going on holiday?

I just had a week off work and just did work around the house! Not much of a holiday! It's been a while since my last "real" holiday, August I believe. It was wonderful :)

Is there a special place you especially like to go on holiday?

Make this house phenomenal! Go to lunch and shop frequently with my retired friends. Work out at the gym more and play golf or tennis every day when the weather permits! I would also likely volunteer to work at the Church and visit our sick and elderly. That should keep me busy!

Do you or have you ever played any sports? If not, have you ever wanted to, and if so, which sport?

yes...hockey (loved it), baseball, basketball...and a pile of other sports not part of a league
if someone was to set up a carousel horse on a pole in your home, free-of-charge, and calliope music played when turned on, would you ride it?

I would but I'd twist my neck trying to watch TV at the same time.

Have you ever skydived?
