I'm starting to not like to get anything in the mail...it's all junk or bills. I'd like to get nice friendly post card mail, though.

Does the SKMB distract you from your reading time, chores, work, sleeping time? Are you addicted?;;D:nerd:=D

SKMB distracts me from chores, for sure. (Right now it is distracted me from work) I must find a way to calm down Neesy's running pug. It's a giveaway that work is not on my screen. :tounge:

Have you ever hidden something serious from anyone?

Something serious? No - I guess I have not. I am pretty much an open book, unfortunately.

Have you ever been to a wine tasting festival (or something similar?)

I have not. Can't think of anything like that I've ever done.

Do you enjoy being awake late at night when things are quiet?
I do tonight, actually. Came home and I was so tired I had to go to bed. Now I am up late at night! (or is that early in the morning? :question_pig:

What is your favourite 'comfort food' that reminds you of home or just makes you feel better?

The one that comes to mind right now is burritos the way Mom always made them. Yum. My boys always liked them, too.

What is the dessert you'd eat right now if possible?

I think maybe some fresh apple pie which is weird as I normally like chocolate desserts

Here is a dumb question (I think they ask this in job interviews) - Where do you see yourself five years from now?

Actually, I still see myself doing the same thing as today. Although I'd like to get a house of my own and stop paying someone else's mortgage!

Was there a time you found something extremely hilarious but no one else around did? What was it?

Gee - let me count the ways. My brother got a fish hook in his face - could have taken his eye out - a neighbour of ours was trying her hand at casting by the river. I laughed - she just gave me a dirty look. It was probably nervous laughter, however.

Have you ever had to work with someone you did not get along with?

I'm not remembering anyone...not to work with. I guess I've been lucky on that front. Although there have been a couple of people I've had to deal with in everyday life I don't get along with.

Is there a nice thing someone did for you (not family) when you were a kid that you still think about?

The lady next door in Toronto gave me one of those Royal Dalton ladies (ceramic) when I was just a young girl. It got lost somewhere down the line when we were moving, but it was a nice gesture.

Do you like going to amusement parks and if so, do you go on the rides?

I used to LOVE them! I went on every ride possible, too. It's been quite a while since I've been to one, but I'd like to go see if the rides are still as much fun or if I got too old. Grandma used to take us every Summer when we were kids and it was always my favorite day. Good memories. :)

Were you allowed to play in the rain when you were growing up or did you have parents that swore it would make you sick?

Egotism. Well, no, that's not totally true. I accept that we're all egotistical to a certain degree (God knows I am), but I guess I just really despise how some people either don't feel the need to mask/restrain it, or are self unaware enough to not be able to. So I guess I'll go with the trait of not being self aware. At least when combined with something like egotism.

What personality trait do you find to be totally endearing?
