I missed the entire image debacle.....that is what I get for being too busy.
Oh man, that's a shame, I'm sorry you are so busy Cowboy... you can check out some of the images here.
...I know we laugh and laugh at the Rickster, but I won't lie...I still like the tune, and being in radio for so long-his voice reminds me a bit of Stevie Winwood at that age, when "that voice" rolled out of that young white cat....
Are you saying that Steven Winwood was in the Spencer Davis Group? Wow - I had no idea and I do love his voice!
(I learned something new today so my day was not wasted after all!)
....he was also with Traffic, Blind Faith, Ginger Bakers Air Force, Eric Clapton & The Powerhouse etc...
...hell of a solo career as well...
Hey GNTLGNT , nice pic., is that you, & your ol'lady?
I like that song too . . .it was a major chart topper.
...that is the loveliness of me, and the beauty to my right IS my wife, but I'll be more than happy to tell her you called her "old lady", just let me know where you'd like your remains sent....
No disrespect intended check again, there is no D! Probably the ROCKER & BIKER influences in my life, but to be someone's OL'LADY is viewed as a GOOD thing, as well as a sign of RESPECT, not of degradation or age! Just for S & Gs though, I'd like PEPPERONI on my Tombstone!
...oh hell dude, I wasn't offended at all...I knew just where you were coming from, but in matters like this-I just stand back and let Tracy have at ya......she DOES like a slice of 'za though...
My thoughts go here every time I hear "old lady"
Rock On Brother GNTLGNT !
No, but I'm using Macintosh as I always have because I'm too computer illiterate to feel comfortable with PC, although I know how to do my work on one.
In the photo referring to stepping into the mind of Mr. Mercedes, he has as many computer monitors (or laptops) as Dr. Topol does. I found out the hard way that what works for Dr. Topol didn't exactly work for me.
You might need to check out the date that this thread was first begun to unravel why there were unusual images on the board--as referred to by the member in your quote.
