They were doing weight, height and health check. Mama was very anxious throughout!
I think baby is a little shell-shocked after all the man-handling. (Mama is giving a comfort feed now)
Baby is shell shocked. Poor lil thing. Humans. Everything is new. I was glad to see him nurse.
Did you see that? He was just sleeping... on his feet! (like Scott said yesterday) He only woke when Mum started walking toward him.
(I could never be a giraffe, I like sleeping too much.)

Boy, he did just stand there after they were done like he was in shock. "Mom! Some guys just touched me!"
Yeah he really didn't know what to make of it, did he? I think he even went to sleep afterwards, probably took a lot out of him being handled like that.
I had a coworker that watched April for months. She texted me when the baby was born
Where's the baby? Is he just out of camera range? Mom is too calm for him to not be there, but I watched for a bit and no baby!
I think he's hiding out in one of the shady corners?
(It's frustrating that they've disabled the live chat... it's wonderful having the live chat with Evolene and Corsica because we can catch up immediately if we've missed something/or don't understand what we're seeing on the live feed.)
