I take it gif avatars don't move?
And it looks like I'm a slacker now that my avatar isn't constantly typing.
It looks like animated gifs are converted to jpegs. I'm not sure if I can fix this or not, but I'll look into it.
Is there a library of avatars that are acceptable?
Can you only use pictures saved on your computer or can you link to photobucket?
I think you have to have the picture on your computer as it only has a Browse feature and no spot to insert a URL.
If you reupload your animated avatars, they should now work.
They have to be uploaded from your local machine.
For the time being, you're trusted to pick your own. If we end up having problems, we may reinstate the library.
I must be doing something wrong. I deleted it first and then uploaded again but it's still slacking off.
I think Jordan had previously said it can take up to 20 minutes. I'll see if I can find it.
Jordan/Brian did you guys just remove the StephenKing.com classic (or whatever it was called) skin? Do we only have the 'Brian' (can't remember what it's called, sorry) option now?
From Jordan's post in "I'm confused"
I have no idea if that means everything updates that often, or just promotions.
I'll check back later and hope that's what the problem is.
Promotions are twenty minutes. I thought I had fixed the animation issue, but apparently not.
The avatar upload dialog is a little confusing. It doesn't indicate whether the upload was successful or not. Or is it that way only with gif images.
My big eyeball avatar turns out too small when I copy it.
It's like time stopped without Ms. Mod typing and all the clapping... I am scared a little.
Let's see if a gif works posted.. yup.
Do we still have access to Gallery XIX? (is that it? I forgot the number.)
Just click on the StephenKing.com button--everything that was on the main site is still on the main site.
And The Office?
The Office is still where it ever was.
