I knew we could count on you.

Yum!! We grow it every year and man alive that stuff tastes good, off the plant, in the oven wrapped in tinfoil with obscene amounts of butter and black pepper in seconds. :)

I'm amazed that you have a long enough season, mustang, to grow your own. How many days until maturity do you figure for the varieties you grow?

It takes forever. We've some plants coming up now in the greenhouse. Will plant them out in a few weeks (probably towards end of June) then will be picking them late August. Don't get me wrong, they're not massive by any stretch, and we only get about 3 cobs per plant (we normally do 8) and towards end of summer a few of them don't ripen. It's a lot of effort for not huge amounts but our boy loves them and it's worth it :)

Absolutely worth it. Not only the end result, but the fun of getting there. I remember one year I tried to grow broccoli and was hit by those nasty worms. I got exactly one head, but man oh man was it good.

Hope you have a bumper crop this year, mustang!

This was SO helpful, Mz. Sun!! Thank you, can't wait to try it!!

Thank you! After having to pick corn silk out of my teeth last night even though I thought I'd gotten it all before it went on my plate, I'll definitely be giving this a try tonight!

I thought it was pretty cool. Let me know how it works.....I ate all my corn before finding the video
