Hey folks, I just got Netflix a few months ago and finally tried a Black Mirror episode Tuesday night. I started with Season 1 Ep. 1 and if I continue I plan to watch in order. My question to you guys is - should I keep watching? I could not look away from National Anthem, and while it was tough watching the PM try to deal with this situation, I was disturbed because I really do feel that as a world, we are so absorbed in reality TV and the way everyone kept watching, even when they wanted to stop just hit me as too close to home. In reading the Netflix synopsis for E2, it almost seemed like the same kind of thing, just a new main character to have to humiliate themselves while the world watches. If that is the case for this and future episodes, I'll probably pass on the rest of the show. I would appreciate feedback from fans.

Thanks!
There are definite hits and misses. There is tongue in cheek episodes, disturbing ones -- my suggestion would be to just skip around as you want to. Watch the ones that interest you and if you start one and don't like the premise, move to the next one. I have done a lot of skipping around. I have found good stories and bad. I just skip the bad.

Agreed. Some are stellar and some are yawners. Since none have anything to do with the others, skipping around is perfectly fine (though I had to watch them all, even the boring ones--lol).

I tried to watch the bad ones, and may still go back, but for now, I'm not wasting my time on them.

I admit that I skimwatched rather than paid close attention to a few. What did you think of the Jon Hamm Christmas special? He's criminally underrated as an actor.
Okay, that's tugging at my memory. Is this the one where he's

gah! like in a cabin with some other guy, and he's like in police custody really and he ends up moving through the world seeing outlines of people? I love Jon Hamm, so I thought the episode was good because he sold it.
