This link is about a young man named Dan in our city. He ends a 60 hour campout for the foodbank. Wow, in this weather, it could not have been pretty.

...here's a few pics from our downtown "Dicken's Victorian Village"...the damn things give me the creeps, but vistors flock by the dozens to wander up and down our street to see the sets...

...and they offer carriage and trolley rides!...

Here's our state capitol holiday tree being set up a few days ago. I'm going to the tree lighting service this Thursday evening at 4:30. There will be a nice program and our governor, Jerry Brown, will officially light the tree.
