Now I don't mind a bit of alcohol smuggled off the island of St. Pierre ( part of France) just off the coast of Newfoundland.
Why does the States need this water and pay so much for it? Do they not have any fresh water or stuff?
They just outbid a small town for a water well here in Ontario. This is not, though. Big company not paying for anything. I think Trump must be a silent partner.

They do this all over the US, too. What they pay for the water is ridiculously low. This is not, though. Big company not paying for anything. I think Trump must be a silent partner.

Seems like the more money you have, in some cases, the greedier you get. That comment excludes Uncle Steve. They do this all over the US, too. What they pay for the water is ridiculously low.
WOW, it costs a lot more than that in Alberta. Becky drinks bottled water and I drink good ole tap.My husband just got home from a business trip to Vegas. At the hotel a bottle of water was $4. I can buy a case for under $2.
We do not regularly buy bottled water, but the city has been replacing the pipes on our street so we did stock up because our water could suddenly stop. We also usually try to keep a case in the house anyway because we have several times had our water supply stop with no warning. Normally a case will last us a year.

What about the Brita filter? We've been using one since 1984 when my then husband used to fly to Germany with his squadron - they only caught on in popularity over here later onAlways drink tapwater if i drink water. why pay for it? It isn't really better.
