The man who made the fireplace for his girlfriend-- he's a keeper.
He is indeed. I mean...oh you know. (Not that there's anything wrong with that.) He is also an artist.
I think it's great that he would go out of his way to make a place for her to hang stockings. I love that.
Thanks to the posters on here. Sitting here on a miserable rainy Thursday, with a stress day at work in front of me, it's so nice to see these pictures you are kind enough to share. Makes me feel better. 
Discovered an interesting band-cum-performance art group called Steam Powered Giraffe. They are a band of "robots" that play music and do skits. They are incredibly talented, musically and their movement is amazing! Here's a taste:
