Oh my glory!!!!
I had to double check to see if it was an actual photo.Oh my glory!!!!
I would love to take a stroll there.I had to double check to see if it was an actual photo.
That was great! Amazing what we can do with photography now, isn't it? Just beautiful...I think this is the best vid I've seen this year . . .4.5 minutes but it's so good you wish it was longer. Great music, too!
It's something you don't see everyday. Most vids of flowers opening are of those of other, more typical kinds of flowering plants, such as roses. To me flowers on cactuses reinforces the magical nature in flowers because their beauty is in such direct contrast to the near-alien look of some of their accompanying succulents. I'm delighted that you like it!I think this is the best vid I've seen this year . . .4.5 minutes but it's so good you wish it was longer. Great music, too!

It occurs to me that his reason for filming them blooming is what art is all about, to capture the beauty of that which is fleeting. That's amazing. I read that the guy loves cacti but he said that the blooms don't last very long so he decided to capture the blooms before they died. By doing that he's now getting into video creations . . .that's pretty cool!
I agree . . .he did a wonderful job.It occurs to me that his reason for filming them blooming is what art is all about, to capture the beauty of that which is fleeting.
