"The mountains are calling and I must go"- John Muir. There is an old motel atop Spruce Pine North Carolina where the slanting should be condemned rooms are scary with rot and most would turn down. We did. But it was late and there was one two story that seemed sound. It had balconies and a 360 view. Too bad I only had a cheap camera with me. Your picture gave me that ache for the Smokies again. Soon now, very soon. There must be some place there I haven't seen.

that is amazing. Quilting is an art. And when you guys see a quilt that costs thousands of dollars, there is a reason for that.
