I wonder what kind of trees those are with their trunks split open? Old wounds looks like. I've had trees around here pointed out to me by this Ojibwa friend...said lightening struck that...one was a birch as I recall. I wonder if they were lightening-struck? The way that wound seems to spiral around the trunk in the one.
Where are those trees that bleed? That is wild!
My grandpa grew white strawberries......they didn't taste like much of anything, only very sweetPineberries. White strawberries that kind of taste like pineapple (I've never heard of these . . .will research.)
Okay, he's blind and I applaud him and give it up 100%. But the poor dog has got to be deaf. Laying in front of the speakers every day.
