So, I have been lucky enough to find a theater in my home town that screens cult and classic movies on a fairly regular basis. If you live in the Boston area check out Coolidge Corner Theatre Foundation. It's the website for the Coolidge Corner Theater in Brookline. The @ftermidnight and big screen classics programs are pretty sweet. Within the last few months I've seen:
Escape from New York
The Thing
Big Trouble in Little China
The Warriors
(Yes, I have a bit of a John Carpenter addiction)
Texas Chainsaw Massacre and Night of The Living Dead are playing there soon. Also have Blazing Saddles and Jaws coming up.
On Halloween they usually have a horror movie marathon that runs like twelve hours. Haven't done that yet but might this year.
Anyone else lucky enough to have something like this in their hometown?
