When Painting Day is here

I'm touched, sisterwife! That's lovely. We love painting day. This weekend: gloomy gray for the 13 year old girl's bedroom, to suit her sullen mood. I still can't commit to the kitchen - any suggestions? Blue doesn't work - they all turn lavendar-ish. My accents are bright and bold. Red rugs. I wonder how yellow would do?
Misfit paints? lol, I have not seen any at our H.D. - sounds interesting
The accents in my kitchen are somewhat bright and bold - I like advertising tins and they're usually primary colors. I have so many different colors going on in my kitchen, I had to paint the walls a neutral color. Yellow sounds good though - I used to have a bedroom painted banana cream yellow and it went quite well with bright accents.
Yellow would be pretty. A nice buttery shade.
