Necrotizing fasciitis - happens quite a bit - I am always typing up reports of patients who end up having more and more of their skin and tissue debrided over and over while they are on intravenous antibiotics. It sounds like that is what this poor woman should have had (IV) right away before it was too late. Poor thing
not in reply to your message, Haunted, but in your slogan, about hope..one of my favorite SK phrases ever!
Oh H no! I am not going to look at that attachment! I have to live with those mean azz spiders. Someone once told me you'd never see a recluse, thus their name - NOT TRUE! I'm just gonna tell you, they are not reclusive, not in my house anyway. One took a bath with me just a couple of weeks ago. And here's something: you know that people say ladybugs in your house means good luck - that's a lie too. Ladybugs are BROWN RECLUSE FOOD! So if you live in the south, and you've got ladybugs, once word gets out, prepare for the dreaded recluse to set up camp. And nothing really can be done.
I've never heard of doing that! We use glue traps mostly just to monitor the activity - either they are sparse right now or just walking around the traps. Even the exterminator said they really can't do anything. It's the bane of my existence! My neighbor used to come over during garden season to ask for some tomato vines. I always have plenty so no biggy. She hangs them up in the basement to chase the spiders out.
