You need to update me on your email! I sent my latest MS but never heard back. Don't know if that calls for sad-face because you didn't get it or happy-face because you still want to.
Sorry! We don't let people's emails on this side of the board for your protection. Send our little kitty cat a pm.

What? It's Sunday night (US time) and we can post?

I'm not a guy who easily goes maudlin, but it's been a total joy with you guys. Seriously, one of the very prime highlight of my Internet socializing.

Seemingly irrelevant, but not really, we had to put down our son's and our old dog Wednesday. He was kind enough to let us know that this was it, time to go, and he departed this world with treats and a happy mouth and his nearest and dearest loving him up. If only humans were so kind with our own passing.

But the point being, all things have a life cycle. Us, our virtual environments, our species, planets, stars, the universe itself. The end of something is every bit as natural as its beginning.

Enjoy every moment the best that you can. The moments that pass don't come back, but you can form new great ones. And that's what this forum's been to me. A great one.

Good fortune to you all.

My thoughts for Chopper. May Shadow find a new doggie friend soon.
I traveled the world through your work adventures. They will be missed. Still reading your blog-- good stuff. Keep writing. Be well and be safe. Love and green lights!

There was a thread on the old boards to express our appreciation for our Ms. Mod. I'd like to start another to tell her how much she has meant to me (and all of us) all these years.

You have been there for me in so many ways, both online and off. Words can not convey how much this message board and you have meant to my life when I joined so many years ago. Many things have changed in my life as you know and your kindness and support has seen me through tough times.
You actually saved my life with your actions a few years ago, and that I will never forget. I wish you love and happiness in your retirement.
Much love, :love_heart:

Hi not_nadine, just letting you know that KRF had recently begun a thread for Marsha and that you might not have seen it, so I've just moved your post into it for you. I've slightly altered the title so as to incorporate both threads.

Tomorrow Marks the end of an era of two Bangor favorites of mine; Nicky's Cruisin' Diner, and the Stephen King Message Board.

I would like to personally thank Marsha D. and Julie E. for all their time and hard work. It certainly has been one helluva fun ride. Also to Julie: Kelly W. says hi!

To all the peeps on here like GNTLGNT, CJ, Lin, and Spideyman, it doesn't have to be goodbye. Find me on Facebook as Bill Cassinelli, or via email at

Much love to you all.

I moved your post to an existing thread. I deleted your email as we don't allow them on the front side of the board for your protection. Be sure and pm the people you want to give your email too.

It is so hard to believe that this day has come. Although I haven't been around much for a while, I still think about the people here every day. I did make some friends and I will always treasure that. I joined nine years ago but it hardly seems like that could be real. I was pretty quiet I guess but I came to care about people here even though I never spoke to them. More of a lurker than sharer...

The love that lives here on these pages is so strong you only have to read a minute amount to feel it. I wish the very best to every single one of you and I hope we can all eventually find something to fill the hole that it left by losing this place. Keep your friends close if you can! Something I myself need to work harder at.

Marsha has earned her retirement and I am extremely happy for her! She ran this place with great dignity, integrity, and grace. It has always been a joy to watch.
Thank you Moderator for always being there for all of us!
Thank you to all of the other moderators as well. The time and love you all gave helped make this place what it was.

I will always be grateful for the time I was able to spend here and I'll never forget how great it was. There may be other worlds than this but there will never be another place like this. I am honored to have been a part of it all!

Much love to you all!!
Debbie

I have to give a great big Ditto to what you all have said. A big thanks to Stephen for being such a wonderful writer and an even bigger thanks to Marsha for taking on this message board so we could come and play. But mostly Marsha I want to say thank you for a special message that we shared. Talking to you really helped me to move on. I am very grateful for that.

There are so many of you that are dear to me.
