But! If you're on the Interstate, and someone is driving on the on-ramp trying to merge, and you're able to get over to the left lane, please do! It's common courtesy to allow room for the merging driver, plus it's safer too. I understand that you can't always get over, but it's rude not to if you're able. By the time I get onto the Interstate, I want to be going (at least) the speed limit, and so many times, truck drivers stay in the right lane forcing me to go either super fast or super slow to merge. It is not safe to stop on the ramp! Let people in if you can.My driving pet peeve.. probably #1... is
People that are (supposedly!) yielding onto the highway ... that will not speed up or slow down to yield/merge, but, expect YOU to do the slowing down or speeding up to let them in, and, if you don't they blare their horn at you.
IT'S YOUR JOB TO YIELD/MERGE -- NOT THE DRIVERS ALREADY ON THE HIGHWAY!
I agree, but when I see the person merging making no attempt to speed up or slow down to get in front of or behind me, then, has the nerve to honk at me... well, they are not even making an attempt! But! And the sodium intake is almost as much as the calorie count (in processed foods anyway)......... everything you want to eat is 200+ calories and there are no delicious low calorie option foods
